Hotel Fliegerheim in Borkheide

We ordered the "goose-to-go" for Christmas on recommendation and our expectations were more than exceeded! The goose was very juicy, the red cabbage, like the sauce and the dumplings, had an excellent taste and the pick-up went great! The final preparation at home was child's play thanks to the instructions provided. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and well organized. We will now only celebrate Christmas this way: Without standing in the kitchen for hours, and still come together with excellent food in small groups! A big thank you to the entire Fliegerheim team!

Overpriced rooms and meals in the restaurant! Not for families with narrow gel bags! The overnight prices e.g. 125 euros in a double room are published on the homepage, this also applies to the menu before Corona and the now valid pick-up card.

We ate duck and goose today. It tasted great once again. We always like to come back here. A very good restaurant, which is run by the very dedicated, friendly and courteous owners.

Anyone who goes here learns something about the mechanical engineer, entrepreneur and aviation pioneer Hans Grade and enjoys fantastically prepared food in an ambience with great attention to detail. Who goes here, comes back.

The food was good. However, the portions are very well arranged and the prices are quite high. The children's meal was unfortunately not tasty. Pasta with tomato sauce was on the menu. My son got a tomato soup without much flavor.

You get a very friendly welcome. The rooms are very clean and contemporary! Food, which is also highly recommended, can be eaten either inside the house or in the beautifully designed outdoor area which is even equipped with a fish pond. All in all a feel-good atmosphere and there are 5 stars!

I am always thrilled! The highlight is of course the goose meal - absolutely perfect. Very attentive service, very good quality of the regional products used.

Do you know the feeling, you enter a room and immediately feel comfortable. That's how it goes in this restaurant. One feels taken with a time travel. But come now. If you order a goose here, your taste buds will remember for a lifetime. I have never experienced anything so wonderfully tender and balanced in taste. Whether you order dumplings, red cabbage, Brussels sprouts everything is a round thing. The service was humorous and had strained our laughing muscles heavily. Thanks for the nice evening, the good food and the great feeling we take with us.

Very nice family run hotel. Super friendly staff, cosy rooms. Restaurant has delicious local specialities. If weather allows try eating in the courtyard. I have been there 3 times, and will return

Fliegerheim is on a consistant upwards trend. We have visited once or twice per summer for five-six years. Constantly improving. Very friendly service. Good local food. Very nice garden. Historic site.

Unfortunately I only know the restaurant 🍴 "Fliegerheim"! - But for many years. Every time I am very enthusiastic about the dishes (German cuisine) and the service from the staff and the kitchen. I would like to say here that the "Fliegerheim", if it does not already exist, should be invented! Best regards !
